How We Work
A senior engineering team operates differently from a freelancer or a generalist agency. Here is exactly what working with OmniStreak looks like - from first contact to long-term partnership.
The Engagement Model
Every OmniStreak engagement follows the same path. It starts small, proves the relationship, and grows from there.
No client has ever started on a large retainer. Every long-term partnership we have started with a single, scoped project.
This is intentional because it protects you and it protects us.

Step 1
The Pilot Project
What it is
A fixed-price, scoped project with a clear deliverable and a defined timeline. One thing, built well, delivered on time.
What it is not
A discovery exercise. A strategy session. A trial period where we figure out if we can do the work. We know what we can do. The pilot is about establishing how we work together.
What it costs
$5k-$15k upfront depending on scope.
What we need from you
A clearly defined problem - at least 80% scoped before we start. We will contribute engineering judgment on the remaining 20%, but we are not the right team if the vision is still being figured out. Come to us with a specific deliverable in mind.
What happens after
If the project goes well and your business has ongoing engineering needs, we move into a retainer conversation. If not, the engagement concludes cleanly. No obligation on either side.

Step 2
The Retainer
What it is
A monthly engagement where OmniStreak functions as your Embedded Engineering Team.
A dedicated allocation of our team, working on your product every month, under Milos's direct oversight.
How it is structured
We agree on a monthly hour block before the engagement begins. Work is scoped before it starts, and you are notified proactively when we are approaching the hour ceiling - never after.
If scope needs to change, we discuss it before we act on it.
What it costs
$10k-$30k per month depending on scope and team allocation. Engagements requiring larger team capacity are scoped individually.
What you get
A dedicated team that knows your system. Milos's direct involvement in every engagement. Proactive communication as a standard, not an exception.
A partner who understands the business case behind every technical decision - not just the ticket in front of them.
Step 3
Long-Term Partnership
The clients who stay longest are the ones whose businesses keep growing. As your product expands - new features, new integrations, new systems - we expand with it.
Scope grows, team allocation grows, and OmniStreak becomes a core part of how your product gets built.
Our longest active client partnership is 10 years and ongoing.

How Communication Works
This is not a freelancer arrangement where you message an individual developer and hope for a response. OmniStreak operates as a structured engineering team.
Step 1
Dedicated Slack channel
Every client gets a dedicated Slack channel from day one. Your stakeholders are in it. Our project delivery managers and Milos are in it. This is where day-to-day communication happens - questions, updates, decisions, launch confirmations.
Step 2
Dedicated Jira board
Every client gets a dedicated project board with full visibility into work in progress. You can see what is being worked on, what is queued, and what has been completed - at any point, without asking.
Step 3
Kickoff call
Before any work begins we run a kickoff call to align on scope, timeline, delivery expectations, and communication cadence.
Step 4
Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins
Ongoing scheduled meetings to review progress, discuss upcoming work, and address anything that needs a real conversation. Frequency is agreed at kickoff based on project needs.
One important boundary
The team operates as a single unit. Clients get the responsiveness of an in-house team without having to manage one - no coordinating across engineers, no chasing updates. That overhead sits with us, not you.
Working With Us
We bring engineering judgment to every engagement. When there is a better technical approach than what was originally scoped, we say so - with a clear explanation of the tradeoffs, not just an opinion. When a request falls outside what we do, we say that too.
What we do not do: proceed silently on work we have concerns about, absorb scope changes without flagging them, or let a deadline pass without warning.
If something is going to affect timeline or cost, you will hear from us before it affects timeline or cost.
Ready to Start
The next step is a scoped pilot project. Tell us what you need built and we will tell you honestly whether it is the right fit.
